Since 2012, the Team at FIREHIRE has been working to give interested people the information they need to consider becoming a local firefighter and/or medical responder. As veterans of the fire service ourselves, we understand the complexity of recruiting and retaining firefighters. It takes A LOT of time and energy to maintain a full roster today.
Each day, our Team works to catch the attention of men and women who have been waiting in the background to join your Team but do not know how to do it. Let's face it, people think we are fulltime firefighters. FIREHIRE has become the conduit to make the connection between the new candidate and your fire department.
From 2012 to 2016, 75% of the 263 new firefighters hired within Anoka County stated they used the resources at MNFIREHIRE to help them make their decision to join their local fire department. That is phenomenal number statistic! We provide updated information though the use of social media, email, and phone contact to those who contact us each day.
On average, we receive 15 emails per day from people wanting to make contact with their fire department recruiter. But guess what? There is typically no one readily available to talk with them.
Our mission is simple; We Recruit Firefighters. We use marketing techniques and current information on your fire department andact as your recruiter to assure the potential candidate does not get frustrated and walk away. Our studies have shown one of the main reasons people are not signing up is NO ONE WILL MAKE CONTACT WITH THEM! They also do not know anything about your department and how to apply.
